Steven Pugsley was raised on his family's Exmoor farm. He lives in Withypool with his teacher wife Louise and their three children. He is a publisher specializing in Exmoor. Steven is a housing and youth charity trustee, and church worker.
I came to live in Minehead when I was eight years old and was educated here. After leaving school I joined the family building firm. I am now semi-retired and work for two days a week in building maintenance.
Roger has been serving the community both as an elected Councillor and as a volunteer since the 19080’s. He has been a council leader elsewhere and since returning to his native Somerset has applied his experience in leadership roles here as well.
A career in the Royal Marines developed my managerial skills ranging from combat resolution to youth development. These experiences developed an ability to analyse multiple and often conflicting factors, many that we face in our rural community, to determine a pragmatic resolution.
Crowcombe has been my home all my life. I married Annabel from West Bagborough, we have two grown-up daughters. Before retirement my occupation was farming sheep, cattle and cereals. I served in the army for six years including two tours of duty in Northern Ireland.
Vivienne worked professionally in both medical and business research before moving to the South West with her husband and son in 1999. Since then, she has worked in the voluntary and business sectors, becoming Town Councillor for Wellington West in 2003 and Town Mayor 2012-13.
